1 punnet button mushrooms½ cup cake flour1 egg beaten¾ cup cornflake crumbs1 teaspoon BBQ spice½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon chilli powder½ teaspoon lemon pepper
Mix spices and crumbs in a bowl.
Wash mushrooms and dip in flour, then egg and then spiced crumbs.
Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden and crispy.
#Variation: Add 1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice), 1 teaspoon chicken spice. Remove BBQ spice.
