INGREDIENTS
2 cups of cake wheat flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder'
1 cup of Taystee wheat/semolina
2 tablespoons of melted butter
ground elachie
385g condensed milk
Dessicated coconut
Syrup
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of water
METHOD
Place dry ingredients in a bowl and combine well.
In a separate bowl,mix the condensed milk with butter and ground elachie.
Gently add the dry ingredients to the condensed milk mixture to form a soft,moist dough.
Break off small pieces of the dough and roll into fingers.
Fry in hot oil allow to cool slightly then dip into syrup and roll in dessicated coconut.
Syrup
Boil:
2 cups of water
1 cup of sugar
