Gulaab jamun

1 tin condensed milk
2 tBLspns ghee (Clarified butter)
3 tBLspns semolina
3 tspns baking powder
1 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
1 egg
Oil for frying.
For Syrup - Bring to boil until sticky the following:
3 cups sugar
2 cups water
Add Elachi (cardomom) powder as u like (I add ½ a teaspoon)
½ teaspoon saffron (optional)
Method:
Mix together condense, ghee (Clarified butter), egg, Elachi (cardomom) and baking powder
Add flour to make a soft dough
Shape into long fingers
Fry on a medium low heat allowing the goolab jamuns to crack open a bit and rise.
Cook until done or golden brown.
Drain and soak in syrup.

Melt the ghee (Clarified butter)
For the syrup I suggest
2 cups sugar with
1cup water
Otherwise there will be lots leftover
