1kg Curry Mutton
3 medium onions
4 tomatoes (Liquidised)
3 tablespoon tomato puree
1 heaped teaspoon dhana
1 level teaspoon jeeru (cumin)
1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste
1 tablespoon red masala
Salt to taste
½ arad (Turmeric)
½ teaspoon Soumph (Fennel) powder
Braise onions in ghee (Clarified butter) with whole spices.
Add mutton and all the spices and masala. Braise for about 5 minutes. Add liquidised tomatoes and puree cook until meat is tender and done.. About 45 minutes.
Sprinkle ½ teaspoon garam masala. Serve with Rice, Roti or Naan
