1 kg steak - cut into big cubes 1 ½ tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 1 teaspoon ground garlic 1 big tablespoon SHAN NIHARI masala(bought frm chohans/spice emporioum)
¾ cup flour mixed with water to make runny paste
1 large onion (fine) 1 small green pepper chopped 1 tablespoon SHAN nihari masala
Melt ghee (Clarified butter),add garlic,braise,then add masala and braise.Add steak,braise well.Cook on low till tender,dont make dry.Remove meat from pot and move frm stove.Add paste into pot using a strainer and beat with whisk,so it wont get lumpy.Braise onion in little ghee (Clarified butter) till pink,add green pepper and braise well.Add masala and braise well.Add to pot and add water if neccessary.Garnish with dhania (coriander).Serve with ROGNI NAAN and lemon juice.
