Cheddar melt burger
500g fillet steak, butterflied
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
Mushroom sauce :
1 punnet mushrooms, wash and sliced.
1 small onion,
1 clove crushed garlic or
½ teaspoon garlic flakes.
Fry steak with butter on medium - high. Lower heat, Add ¼ cup spurs basting sauce. Cook on medium - low until done.
Saute onion with butter, add garlic, mushrooms and cook. Mix 2 teaspoon corn flour with 1 cup fresh cream add to the mushrooms simmer until thickened.
Cut rolls in half. Layer lettuce, tomato, Gherkins, steak, cheese topped with mushroom sauce onto the base of each roll. Close with top of rolls.
