125g butter ½ cup brown sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ cup chopped nuts 1 egg ½ cup all bran flakes ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda Flour as needed
Cream butter and sugar together then beat in the egg and vanilla. Add the rest of the ingredients and fold in to make a dough. Roll out and scratch with a fork. Cut into shapes and lay it on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees until done.
