INGREDIENTS
1kg topside steak (cut into flat small even pieces)1 onion (sliced)1 stick cinnamon½ - 1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon cumin powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon fine salt1 ½ teaspoon chilli powder½ teaspoon lemon pepper1 teaspoon mustard powder1 tablespoon brown vinegar1 tablespoon tomato sauce3 tomatoes (liquidized)Fresh dhania (coriander) (chopped)
METHOD
1. Braise onion with cinnamon until golden.2. Add masala, spices & vinegar, braise till fragrant.3. Add steak and coat well.4. Cook till no water remains, then add tomatoes and sauce.5. Add more water if needed to cook till steak is tender.6. Cook until a thickened chutney has formed. 7. Garnish with dhania (coriander). Serve with bread or roti.#mamataughtmewellrecipes
