INGREDIENTS
1kg steak cut in cubesMarinate in the following:
1 teaspoon salt (or salt to taste)1 teaspoon rough chillies 2 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric) (tumeric powder)1 teaspoon dhania (coriander) jeera1 heaped teaspoon ginger garlic½ teaspoon red chilli paste1 tablespoon sujees peri peri masala (if you prefer less spicy, leave this out)1 tablespoon vinegar3 tablespoon yoghurt4 tablespoon tomato puree
Marinate for a few hours or overnight.
Other ingredients:
½ yellow pepper½ green pepper½ red pepper
Chop the peppers into squares.
1 onion4 black peppercorns 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)Dash of oil (I used peri peri)1 teaspoon cumin seeds
METHOD
Chop up the onion and sauté in a pot with ghee (Clarified butter), cumin seeds, 4 black peppercorns & a dash of peri peri oil.
Add the marinated steak and let it cook. Half way through, add the chopped peppers. Garnish with greens & serve with side veggies & potatoes.
