4 cups cake flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoon ordinary sugar
1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin) seeds
+/- 3⁄4 cup milk
Beaten egg for brushing
Sift together flour and baking powder. Add salt, sugar and Jeeru (Cumin). Mix in.
Rub in butter and form "crumb" texture.
Mix eggs and milk and add to flour.
If too dry, add more milk.
Form a soft rollable dough.
Either roll into rounds or flat and cut rectangles, brush with egg and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake in preheated oven at 160degC until puffed and golden.
