Chutney Tuna Rec cred: @mama_taught_me_wellPic cred: Ruhana Ebrahim Ingredients1 onion (sliced)2 large tomatoes (liquidized)1 piece taj (cinnamon stick)2 large tomatoes (liquidized)1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder½ - 1 teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon turmeric powder2 tins tuna in brine * Optional- julienned green pepper
1. Braise onion in oil with taj till golden. 2. Add tomatoes and spices and cook till chutney forms. 3. Drain tuna from water.4. Add tuna to chutney, mix in and heat through. 5. Serve with soft bread/ roti or savoury rice.
