Today's puff pastry
Roll out pastry on floured surface. Cut into thin strips. Brush with egg. Twist two strands of pastry together till forms a rope effect.
Place on greased tray. Brush with egg and sprinkle garlic salt.
Bake until puffed and golden. Serve with dips.
Note: may also brush with garlic butter, or sprinkle cheese or dried herbs
