INGREDIENTS
1 Chicken cut and washed (skinless)
3 potatoes (cut in wedges and fried)
½ carton buttermilk
2 large tomatoes grated
few strand saffron
1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala
salt
1 ½ tablespoon fine red chilli
1 teaspoon fine dhania (coriander)
1 teaspoon fine Jeeru (Cumin)
½ teaspoon fine barishap
¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
½ cup peas
2 tablespoon lemon juice
curry leaves
cinnamon stick, Elachi (cardomom) pods, cloves, whole black pepper
Fresh dhania (coriander) to garnish
METHOD
marinate chicken in spices and set aside
fry potatoes and add to chicken
braize whole spices in ghee (Clarified butter) and add in marinated chicken and potatoes and allow to cook until potatoes are soft
garnish with fresh dhaniaand serve with roti / puri
INFO & TIPS
You can add in julienne carrots and boiled eggs as well
