INGREDIENTS:1kg tenderized topside steak (cubed)2 tablespoon butter + 2 tablespoon oil1 large onion (finely chopped)1 tablespoon ground green chillies1 tablespoon garlic paste1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon lemon pepper1 teaspoon coriander powder1 teaspoon cumin powder1 teaspoon mustard powder1 tablespoon brown vinegar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon mustard sauce2 tablespoon Nando's creamy garlic sauce (or mayonnaise/ranch)½ bottle Nandos pepper sauce (or more)1 teaspoon dried thyme½ cup fresh creamBeaten eggDried herbs
METHOD
1. Finely cube steak, then marinate in garlic, chillies, vinegar, spices and sauces.2. In a pot, heat oil and add onion and saute until softened.3. Add in butter and marinated steak and cook until ¾ way done. 4. Then add in thyme and cream.5. Simmer until thickened and remove from heat.6. Leave filling to cool completely before filling into pie pastry.7. Brush filled pies with beaten egg, poke holes with a fork on the top and sprinkle on dried herbs.8.
