½ kg steak rump or topside cut into cubes 1 teaspoon garlic ½ teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon red chilli paste 2 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon cape herb and spices brand taco spice 1 tablespoon bbq spice ( I used gorima ) 1 teaspoon dhana powder 1 tso jeera powder ¼ teaspoon haldi salt to taste ( note the bbq and taco spice is salty ) ½ freshly squeezed lemon
toppings : gaucomole sour cream cheese lettuce onion s tomato jalapeno salsa ( if u not adding tomato to steak )
marinade steak over night or at least 1 hour braise onions with oil and butter until translucent add the steak and cook util tender add 2 cups water and allow to cook on low heat until tender . add tomatoes allow water to burn out garnish with dhania (coriander) . add steak filling to taco shells add cheese and place in oven for 10 to 15 minutes remove add toppings as desired and serve immediately .
