INGREDIENTS
2 boxes of Oreos (176 grams each)
230 grams of medium fat cream cheese
2 bars white chocolate
2 bars dark chocolate
METHOD
Crush the oreos in a food processor to a fine crumb. Move to a bowl. Add the cream cheese and knead until all the crumbs are completely incorporated into the cream cheese.
Roll the mixture into balls at whatever size you desire. Place on a surface covered with plastic wrap, wax paper, or foil.
Melt the two bars of white chocolate either over a double boiler or in the microwave. Do the same with the dark chocolate. Roll the oreo balls into one of the chocolates and then place on the covered surface. Top with sprinkles, extra crushed oreos, or stripes of the chocolate you did not use to cover the ball.
Allow to cool in the fridge or freezer until chocolate has completely set.
INFO & TIPS
If you're making these on a warm day, you might find that the "dough" or the oreo balls need to spend some time in the fridge to maintain their shape.
I accidentally melted a TV bar instead of a white chocolate bar, that's why my white oreo balls look lumpy. But they still tasted great!
