Cake Ingredients 125g butter,softened ¾ cup caster sugar 2 eggs 1 and half cups sifted self raising flour ¼ cup milk ¼ cup orange juice finely grated orange zest(1 orange)
Syrup Juice or 1 orange 1 cup caster sugar
1.Combine all cake ingredients and beat throughly for 3 minutes. 2.Pour into well greased ring tin. 3.Bake for about 25-35 minutes. 4.Leave to cool for about 10 minutes before transfering onto plate.Becareful when removing as cake is still hot. 5.Make syrup by boling caster sugar and orange juice,until sugar has dissolved. 6.Pour half the quantity of hot syrup over cake. 7.When cool dust with icing sugar.
