INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups oats
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate
- 1 cup choc chips or chopped plain chocolate
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecan nuts or walnuts
METHOD
Cream butter
Add brown sugar, beating continuously
Add egg and beat well
Add vanilla essence, then all the dry ingredients and mix
Lastly add all the chocolate and nuts and mix well together to make a soft dough
Shape into walnut size balls and place apart on baking sheet, flatten
Bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until brown
INFO & TIPS
☆ Check the cooking process according to your oven and the size of cookies. The first batch i baked 12mn was too much.. My cookies took 8 to 9mns to be done
