INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup oil
- 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
- 2 cups water (boiled)
METHOD
1) Sift flour and salt
2) Add ghee (Clarified butter) + oil and mix in with your hands
3) Add the boiling water, start mixing with a wooden spoon then finish with your hand until it forms a soft dough
4) Roll into a rectangular shape, bast with oil and sprinkle with flour. Roll into a log and cut into 16 equal portions
5) Roll out and fry
INFO & TIPS
☆ For step 4) i usually divide the dough into 2 then do the step. I also skipped that step many a times and the rotis are still fine!
☆ Fry on dry tawa but you can also (optional) refry 10 seconds on each side in ghee before serving. Both ways are nice
