INGREDIENTS
200g butter or margarine
1 & ½ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 & ½ cups sugar
1 cup semolina / taystee wheat
1 cup flour
1 cup dessicated coconut
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon elachie powder
METHOD
Boil the first 4 ingredients & keep aside.
Add the balance of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl & mix well.
Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased baking pan. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and bake at 180 degrees for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Remove, cool & enjoy.
