Ingredients: 1kg kingklip Juice of ½ lemon 15ml paprika 15ml vinegar 2ml black pepper 6-8 whole dry red chillies 3 cloves garlic, crushed 60ml olive oil 1 teaspoon salt
Method: Soak the whole chillies in boiling water. When soft, remove from water. Liquidize/ grind whole chillies with the rest of ingredients until smooth and fine in texture. Marinate the washed/cleaned kingklip in the peri-peri paste. Fry in olive oil until cooked. Serve with Portuguese rolls, chips or salad.
