INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cup aamli juice
1 kilo fish white your choice
4/5 ripe tomatoes grated
½ cup oil
1 medium onion – 4 cloves garlic
2 teaspoon mixed seeds (ask 4 @ spice shop)
curry leaves
2 teaspoon mixed masala
1 heaped teaspoon tumeric powder
Salt to taste
2 teaspoon garlic ginger masala
2 teaspoon dana Jeeru (Cumin)
2 medium brinjals
1 green pepper
Handful fresh coriander
METHOD
Slice fish into 5cm slices
Heat oil in a pot add sliced onions and mixed seeds
and cook till onions are transparent
Add tomatoes,spices,curry leaves and garlic. den add brinjals and green peper.
Cover and cook on medium heat stirring often. Til veg little medium soft. Add water if necessary.
Put in the fish, then cook on medium heat 15 minutes den add aamli juice bring 2 a boil den cook on low heat til oil comes up
add chopped fresh coriander
Serve with rice or roti or even pap (putu)

FISH SLICES CAN ALSO BE SMEARED WITH FISH MASALA OF CHOICE.FRY IN SHALLOW OIL UNTIL FIRM. NOT LONG. TIN FISH OR MIDDLE CAN ALSO BE USED. THIS RECIPE CAN ALSO BE MADE WITHOUT THE AAMLI JUICE. CHOICE IS YOURS. BOTH WAYS TASTES DELISH.
