1 kg ox tail pieces washed
1 onion cut
3 tablespoon oil
Heat oil in a pot added onions &
1 teaspoon jeera seeds
few cinnamon sticks,pepper corns & Elachi (cardomom) pods. Braise all this till onions are golden brown.
Add the ox tail pieces, 2 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala,2 teaspoon salt ,2 teaspoon mix masala & allow to cook. keep adding water as it takes long to get soft ( u could put in pressure cooker to lessen cooking time.)
When meat is almost tender add 3 grated tomatoes, 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric) , 2 teaspoon dana Jeeru (Cumin), 1 teaspoon chillies powder, few cut potatoes & curry leaves. Cook until potatoes are soft.Serve with rice & salad.
