I kg cut up chicken
3-4 medium size potatoes cut in halves you can steam in microwave To rush the process
Soak few minutes 3 Elachi (cardomom) 2Tuj 3 cloves 4 peper corns 1 teaspoon whole jeera in little water (optional) drain
METHOD In pot heat 3-4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)/oil Add 2 medium finely sliced onions Braise till light gold Add your soaked or unsoaked spices Braise Add few curry leaves 2 whole green chilli (optional) Add the cut up chicken pieces With 1Tblsp rough or salt 1 tablespoon ginger garlic Cook few minutes till chicken changes colour Add 1 teaspoon tumeric Now braise for 15 minutes on low heat Add 2 large tomatoes grated 1 tablespoon tomato puree (optional) 2 ½ teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder 3 teaspoon Dhana jeera Braise Add +- 3 cups water for gravy When chicken almost done add your potatoes Cook till all soft and well blended in the curry Garnish with chopped green dhania (coriander) Enjoy with rice or rotis Salads and Achaar Enjoy😋
