½ kg lamb chops 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 1 teaspoon white pepper 2 teaspoon crushed red chillies 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon red ginger garlic 2 tablespoon white vinegar 2 tablespoon Amina’s peri – peri braai (bbq) marinade 1 cup mixed veg cheese as desired. White Sauce: 2 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoon flour 1 ½ cups milk Salt and pepper to taste
Marinate chops with all the ingredients for 1 hour Cook chops in ghee (Clarified butter) until done add water if necessary Cool slightly and set in a greased casserole dish. Layer mixed vegetable over chops Pour white sauce over veg Sprinkle cheese over. Cover with foil and bake at 180 C for 35 – 45 minutes. Boil until thick, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
