Handful prawns approx 25 meduim ( cleaned , head removed )1 big onion Oil /butter 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 1 teaspoon red chili paste 3 tomatoes1 sachet tomato paste ( pureed )1 teaspoon dhana powder 1 teaspoon jeera powder ¼ teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon kashmiri chili Salt to taste Pinch haldi ¼ lemon freshly squeezed For the prawns :Sprinkle some black pepper Salt Kashmiri chil In a pan add butter crushed garlic and saute on meduim heat for 10 to 12 minutes . set aside .
Gravy : saute onions with peri oil or butter until translucent . Add crushed garlic and chili paste saute until you get aroma , add the pureed tomatoes along with all the spices and lemon and allow the tomato water to almost burn out . Add the tomato paste and cook for another 2 minutes . Remove from heat allow this to cool slightly . Add to a food processor and puree the mixture completely . Add this back to your pot and add the prawns too . Toss and cook for 5 minutes . Garnish with dhania (coriander) Serve with roti ,paapar ,karchumbar
