1 C chana dholl
3 C water
Soak dholl in water 2-3 hrs. Boil the water and add drained dholl. Cook until tender and drain
4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
1 large onion grated
1 teaspoon ginger garlic
2 med tomatoes grated
1 teaspoon green chillies
1 teaspoon crushed cumin
1 teaspoon crushed coriander
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
6 bunches Methi (Fenugreek) bajee
1 small red pepper chopped
¼ C dhania (coriander)
4 green chillies
¼ teaspoon garam masala
Heat ghee (Clarified butter) and fry onions till light gold. Add gg tomatoes and spices. Cook for 6-7 minutes and add dholl. Mix well. Add bajee, red peppers and ½ C water. Cook on low until water evaporates. Garnish with dhania (coriander), chillies and garam masala
