INGREDIENTS
HOMEMADE ROSE SYRUP
Recipe and Pic Rehana Parak
8 cups sugar
7 cups water
2 green Elachi (cardomom)
1 Roll cinnamon
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
¼ cup Liquid Glucose
Stir the above until sugar is dissolved.
Put to boil
Red food colour (I used blue)
¼ cup rose water
METHOD
Let it boil till one strand on syrup
+- 4-5 capfuls of rose essence depending on the make some makes are very weak
+- a capful of vanilla extract (it gives a lovely flavour and smell)
Give one boil
Remove from stove let cool strain and bottle
Use as required to make milkshakes or water sherbert,
Can add tukmaria/ Subja seeds.
