RECIPE
With variations
Sift together ½ cup flour½ cup Chana flour¼ cup mielie meal1 teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon tumeric is optional I like to leave it out 2 teaspoon baking powderKeep asideRub in 60g soft butter or margarine
In a dish
Add 1 can creamstyle corn½ cup oil1 grated onion (squeeze out water)2 well beaten eggs 1 tablespoon ground green chilli½ teaspoon Dhana jeera miix¾ cup of milk (Optional :Use only fresh cream or nestle cream for a much softer texture its divine) Handfull of green chopped dhania (coriander)Mix wellGradually add the dry ingredientsThe texture should be like thickish soft batterPour and greased casseroleSprinkle kus or tal (sesame seeds)Bake in oven 180* for 25- 35 minutesIt will be soft and spongyCut in blocks Enjoy with chutney
VariationI added with few finely chopped spinash leaves
If no Chana flour use ready Chilli bite mix Handful of Methi (Fenugreek) bhaji (Spinach) can be added
½ cup mixed steamed veges
1 cup chicken fillets cooked in green Masala ginger garlic
Enjoy

Tip: Add fresh cream or nestle cream . Instead of milk it is absolutely soft
