¼ lb butter 1 cup flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 4 teaspoon castor sugar 1 egg Milk tart filling :
½ litre milk
1 tablespoon butter
6 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)
½ tin condensed milk
Cinnamon (to sprinkle)
Dough : Method :
Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add in egg and beat again. Add in baking powder and flour. Make into a soft dough. Press dough into greased pans and bake on 160 degrees till pale pink. Remove baked shells, careful not to break and place on a cooling rack. Pour hot filling into shells, sprinkle cinnamon and keep in fridge till needed.
Filling : Method :
Boil milk and butter. Make a paste with maizena (corn flour) and little milk. Stir into the hot milk and keep mixing at all times so no lumps form, add in condensed milk and boil till thick.
