-1 chicken cut and washed
-3 hekta ni hing sticks (cleaned and cut into finger size pieces)
-½ onion (sliced)
-3 small plum tomatoes(grated)
-1 ¼ teaspoon salt
-½ teaspoon red chilli powder
-½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
-½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
-¼ teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon red masala
-finely chopped green dhania (coriander)
1.)spray frylight in a non stick pot-add onions and cook till golden brown then add the chicken and cook for 5mins on medium heat.
2.)add the red masala and all the spices and cook for 15mins on medium heat.
3.)add the hekta ni hing,tomatoes, green dhania (coriander) and continue to cook on medium heat till chicken and hekta ni hing are cooked through(+- 25mins depending on the size of the chicken and hekta ni hing pieces) -a bit of boiled water can be added at this stage if desired.
4.)sprinkle sugar and garnish with green dhania (coriander).
5.)serve with rotis.
