A little spicy, a little cozy, a lot delicious.Chana dhal with mutton –The perfect balance of spice & flavour– pressure cooker approved!
Chana Dhal with Mutton@faads_na
Soaked 2 ½ cups chana dhal overnight (or a few hours) + ½ kg mutton
In a pressure cooker:
Sauté 2 chopped onions in ghee (Clarified butter)/oil until golden brown.
Add 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste + mutton, fry a few minutes.
Stir in:
2 chopped tomatoes
5 sliced green chillies
2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
3 teaspoon red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Soaked dhal
Add a little water, pressure cook 15 minutes until tender.Finish with 1 teaspoon garam masala, fresh coriander + more chopped green chillies.
Serve hot with roti. 🌿🍲
