3 eggs
1 cup castor sugar
¼ cup cocoa
½ cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
¼ cup oil
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
Mix cocoa and water together and leave aside to cool
Whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy
Add in your oil
Add vanilla essence to your cocoa mixture and alternate into batter with flour and baking powder. Grease a regular cake pan and pour the batter in.
Bake at 180 for about 30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
Chocolate icing
250g butter
650g icing sugar -sifted
6 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
7 tablespoon cocoa powder -sifted
Beat butter and icing sugar together till light and creamy. Add in cocoa powder,
milk and vanilla essence and mix well.
Decorate cake as desired
