2 kg prawns cleaned , washed ( you can leave head on if you prefer ) 5 garlic cloves freshly chopped ground green chili 100g butter 1 lemon freshly squeezed 1 teaspoon calistos prego spice / gorimas bbq salt to taste optional - Add crushed red chili and black pepper I did not at this time Butterfly prawns place individually in an oven tray melt the above ingredients and pour over all the prawns cook the prawns for 10 to 15 minutes
Sauce :100g butter 2 cloves garlic 1 teaspoon parsley ¼ cup nandos wild herb peri 2 to 3 tablespoon nandos garlic herb peri or add any Portuguese sauce sourmilk / fresh cream ¼ cup ¼ cup water
Add this to a small pot and bring to boil
you can adjust sauce to your families taste buds
After you have cooked prawns for 10 to 15 minutes at 180 degrees change oven setting to grill pour half the sauce mixture and grill for 5 to 7 minutes . remove and pour the remaining sauce as you plating and serve immediately .
