Spaghetti bolognaise Recipe and picture credit: @mosmeen_diaries 250g @fattis_and_monis spaghetti1 onion, chopped finely 350g mince 1 teaspoon garlic 3⁄4 teaspoon garlic flakes 3⁄4 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoons chilli powder 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed black pepper 1⁄4 teaspoon salt2 medium tomatoes, grated 2 tablespoons tomato paste White sauce:60g butter1⁄4 cup flour2 cups milk, warmedSalt&pepperGrated @lancewoodcheese cheddar cheese Dried herbs Method:1. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Set aside 2. Saute onion in oil until translucent. 3. Add mince and a little water. Cook until water is dry. 4. Add garlic and spices. Braise until fragrant. 5. Add tomato and tomato paste. Cook until dry. 6. Make white sauce by melting butter. Add flour and braise. Add milk and whisk until thick. Season with salt and pepper 7. Assemble bolognaise. Start with mince at the bottom. Top with spaghetti. Pour white sauce over. Sprinkle cheese and herbs. 8. Bake in a preheated oven of 180 degrees celsius for about 30 minutes. Serve hot.
