INGREDIENTS
1 lg onion cut into 8ths
5 tablespoon heaped chana/gram flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon crushed jeeru (cumin)
1 teaspoon crushed red chillies
2 teaspoon sliced coriander
1 beaten egg
and tap water for binding.
oil
METHOD
mix all the ingredients besides the onions into a
semi thin batter using the tap water.
loosen each onion eighth into singles .
dip in the batter and deep fry till crisp and
golden on medium heat.
serve with any chutney of your choice.
