INGREDIENTS
2 Onions (Peeled and Thinly sliced)2 cups Milk1 ½ cups FlourI teaspoon PaprikaAromat (a South African Spice)Salt and Pepper to taste Oil to fry
METHOD
1. Soak the sliced onion rings in milk and leave for 1 hour (or longer).
2. In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, pepper, Aromat (a South African Spice), paprika.
3. Take a handful of onion rings at a time, shake off excess milk and put into the flour mixture, toss around so coated properly. Dust off the extra flour and add them to the HOT oil.
4. Fry for a minute or so then stir and let the other side cook so every strand is crispy 🤤
5. Remove from oil and place on absorbent paper
