INGREDIENTS
My Style½ kg steak (use strips)1 heaped tablespoon ginger garlic+-1 curry spoon oil1 large onion 1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)2 heaped teaspoon dhana jeera mix2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder (or to taste)1Tblsp salt (or to taste)1 large tomato3 tablespoon tomato puree¼ cup peas3 med potatoes cubed
METHOD
Heat oil add onion whole jeeraSaute add the steaks Cook for 5 minutes add the ginger garlic Cook again 5 minutes add the rest of the spicesBraise add the tomatoes and the tomato pureeCook till spices are well blended with tomatoes add water if necessaryWhen steak is almost soft add the cubed potatoes Cook till done Garnish with green dhania (coriander) and little mint (optional)
Variations:Potatoes are optionalMushroomsRobot pepersCarrot rounds
