Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem 8 petite hake fillets sprinkled with the following Lemon juice Black pepper Fish spice Lemon pepper Batter: ¾ cup flour ⅓ cup mazeina ¾ teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon fish spice ½ teaspoon crushed black pepper Juice of 1 lemon 250ml chilled soda water + extra if needed Yellow coloring Whisk together all ingredients to form a smooth batter. Batter consistency should not be too thick or thin. It should just coat the fish well. Fry in medium hot oil untill golden crispy on both sides. Drain on roller towel. Serve with lots of fresh lemon.
