Credit Rids Tried and tested
1 chicken cut into 4's or drumsticks or quarters( I used fillets sliced half side ways so it's not too thick)
Marinade:1Tblsp ginger garlic½ cup Greek yoghurt/or mass1Tblsp Lemon Juice1 teaspoon salt2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder1 teaspoon regular chilli piwdr½ teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon crushed dhana seeds , ¼ teaspoon crushed jeera seeds 2 teaspoon Methi (Fenugreek) masala1 teaspoon mustard powder ½ teaspoon black pepper powder½ teaspoon Yellow food colouring½ teaspoon Red food colouringMake the above all together make incisions on the chicken and rub over the chicken piecesAnd refrigerate overnight (or couple hours) To braai (bbq): You place pieces on the braai (bbq) stand For Oven You place on oven tray on the lower rack cover with FOIL bake at 180* for 35 minutes Brush with the BasteThen change settings to Grill Grill few minutes baste with marinadeThen turn pieces to grill on the other side and baste again
BASTING SAUCE: Use Remainder of marinade mix together with 60g butter heat on stove then cool and use this as your baste. Enjoy with salads and butter naan
