INGREDIENTS
125g butter1 cup brown sugar1 egg ½ cup golden syrup1 level tablespoon bicarbonate soda1 tablespoon ginger powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder ½ teaspoon mixed spice Self raising flour to form a soft dough.
METHOD
Beat butter and sugarAdd egg, golden syrup, bicarb and spices and mix.Make a soft dough with self raising flour.Roll into balls and flatten slightly.Dip into white sugar, and bake on 180•C till golden brown.
