INGREDIENTS
Gram flour 1 cupYoughurt 1 cupGarlic paste ½ teaspoonGreen chilli paste 1 teaspoonTurmeric pd ¼ teaspoonSalt as per tasteAsafoetida (hing) a pinchWater 2 cups
METHOD
Gujarati khandvi /khamri , prepared more easily and instantly in a microwave.....
Mix everything in a blender and liquidize for 2 minutes and make a smooth batter.Sieve this mixture into a micriwave safe bowl and add 1 tablespoon oil in it.Mix well and place d bowl in microwave and cook for 2 minutes on high heat.Take out d bowl and stir nicely.Place back d bowl in microwave and cook further for 2 minutes.Take out d bowl and stir again.Microwave again for 2 more minutes.Take out d bowl again and stir d batter really well.Microwave for 1 more minutes.Take out d bowl , stir d batter nicely.Till now d batter should b very smooth and thick.Now d batter is ready.Before u put d mixture in d microwave make sure u have your counter top or table ready to spread d cooked mixture on.
For spreading d batter take plate or tray or 2 sheets of plastic , what ever is convinient for u.Place d batter between 2 sheets of plastic and roll with a rolling pin to make it really thin.Remove top plastic and let cool and sets.Cut 2 inches wide strips.Roll each like a swiss roll.Cut into small pieces and place in a dish .
Make vaghaar with oil and mustard seeds and few fresh green chillies.Sprinkle corriander leaves and grated fresh coconut.
