Creamy Lamb Khorma

Ingredients:2 onions (sliced)3 tablespoon oil5 peppercorns4 cloves3 pieces cinnamon sticks5 elachie pods1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon chilli powder¼ teaspoon turmeric1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder½ teaspoon garum masala powder1kg lamb piecesWater (as needed)3 large tomatoes (liquidized)½ cup double cream yoghurt (or more)Lemon juice (as needed)Fresh coriander (chopped)
Method:1. Braise onion in oil with whole spices.2. Once golden, add masala and spices and braise till fragrant.3. Add lamb pieces and coat well. Cook in own juices. 4. Then add water as needed and cook till just tender. 5. Add tomatoes, cook till tomato has reduced reduced.6. Add yoghurt and allow to thicken.7. Balance khorma with lemon juice.8. Add in chopped coriander.9. Check seasoning.10. Serve with roti/ naan/ tawa naan or rice.
