Shared by: @naqiyah_mayat Picture credit: Fatima A Latif@_culinaryinspiration_ Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem For 2 cups of Masala Chai:- Add 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water to a pot.- Top Tip: Break open 4 yellow label Lipton teabags. Discard the bags.- Empty into the milk and water mix.- While this is boiling over a medium heat, peel and chop about 2 fingers worth of fresh ginger.- Add this to the tea.- Add half a heaped teaspoon of freshly ground cardamom.- Finally, stir in 3 to 4 teaspoons of sugar.
Once you have achieved the desired colour, strain and serve.
You will never need another Masala tea recipe or powdered tea-masala again 🍵
