500 grams @woolworths_sa penne pasta boiled with salt and oil till al-Dante. Drain and cool completely .
Thereafter add:1 x 119grams net weight tin tuna (drain access water or oil and add only the shredded tuna. 2 ½ cups premium quality fresh cream4- 6 tablespoons @dursots All Joy Tomato and basil pasta sauce (the same one I used for the pizza sauce) ½ teaspoon green masala( a blend of green chilli, coriander, oil, salt, and garlic)2 teaspoon salt 1 ½ teaspoons pepper(Adjust seasoning to your preference )1 ½ cup grated mozzarella cheesecheese spice for the top (optional)
Mix all the ingredients together besides the mozzarella and cheese spice. ( make sure your mixture is not too wet or dry. You have the right consistency when you can hear and see the sauce as your mix but it is not drenched in sauce. Remember the cream will thin with the heat too.) Place in am oven proof dish and sprinkle the grated mozzarella, and thereafter sprinkle with salt /cheese spice(optional). It is “Meal Prep” ready at this point. Remember to bring it to room temperature before baking. Bake open in a preheated oven of 180 degrees till the cheese melts and sauce thickens. Take care not to dry it out nor keep it too saucy. Variations : One could make a white sauce instead of using cream. Make a mediumthick sauce and then add the rest of the ingredients to it. Adjust the seasoning and follow the recipe as is. Serve with ground Parmesan cheese and @willowcreekoliveestate jalapeño / Directors Reserve flavoured olive oil
