Gently wash the fish under a very slow running tap scraping the dirt out with your finger tips. Does anybody else clean the fish like this ?🙈1 big onion2 tomatoes 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 ½ teaspoon dhana jeeru (cumin) ¼ teaspoon aradh ½ tablespoon ginger garlic 4 curry leaves 2 potatoes - peel and cube into medium piecesA small piece of aamli (tamarind)place in some boiling water for about 10 minutes. Mix and strain and keep aside. Braise onion in a little oil. When onion is slightly brown add in your tomato, spices, curry leaves, potato and the tomato from the lucky star. Add water a little at a time till potatoes are soft. Add in your aamli water then your fish. It should take about 10 minutes to cook. Garnish with dhania (coriander).
