Shortbread

INGREDIENTS

250g butter ½ cup icing sugar 1 cup cornstarch +/- 1 ½ cups flour

METHOD

-Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy -Beat in cornstarch -Gradually add flour and form a soft dough -Press dough in a greased pan -Make lines with a fork and poke holes -Bake in preheated oven at 160° -Remove from oven -Sprinkle castor sugar whilst dark -Cut when almost cool
