My style - Adapted
¾ cup yellow Mugh washed and soaked 1-2 hours Braise in 3-4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) :1 small onion chopped or slicedBraise till it turns light gold in colourAdd¼ teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin) .(optional 2-3 whole peppers..1 Elachi (cardomom) pod 1 small tuj (cinnamon stick))Curry leaves 1 slit green or red fresh chilli add few garlic chopped or crushed and or ½ teaspoon ginger garlic paste Braise Add 1 small tomato chopped small Add1 pinch Hing( Optional .1 small pinch bicarb)1 teaspoon salt or to taste½ teaspoon chicken spice ¼ haldi½ dhana jeera mixCook till well. BlendedAdd The wash drained mughToss few minutes Add ¼ teaspoon Garam masala Cook and add water if necessary.Cook till soft and little dry not too. My garnish with chopped green dhania (coriander).
