1 & ½ packet seedless dates chopped up keep aside For the dough250 g butter or margarine¾ cup castor sugarBeat well till fluffyAdd ¼ teaspoon mixed spice (for baking)Dash of cinnamon powderLittle powdered Elachi (cardomom)½ cup mazina2 teaspoon baking powderUse Any amount ofCrushed pecans almond powder or crushed almonds and Add little coconutMix wellBeat 2 well eggs with 1 tablespoon or more of vanilla essenceand few drops of rose essenceBeat mix wellGradually add the datesMix Last add the flour +- 2 ½ (might need more)Make a soft doughRoll into thick rope style rollPlace on a plastic sheet and freezeWhen firm enoughCut Place on greased baking trayKeep them slightly apart as they swell a bit Bake at 180* for +- 15 -20 minutes

Note : Do not let it brown it should be light
