4 cups flour1 ½ teaspoon salt¼ cup sugar1 tablespoon fennel seeds (optional)10g instant yeastMix together375ml milk30ml oilHeat until very warmWhisk in 1 eggAdd to flour mixture & knead very well until the dough is smooth and elastic. (I used the Kenwood machine with the dough hook). Place dough into a oiled bowl and cover. Leave to rise until double in size. Knock down and form into desired shape. Place into a greased pan or tray. Leave to rise for 20-25 minutes. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake @180deg 15 - for 20 minutes or until golden & cooked through. Serve warm.
